Our Nursery Manager, Stacey Murphy and her team look forward to welcoming you to The Kids’ Academy (Chelmsford) which is located close to Moulsham Junior / Infant Schools' and Moulsham High School.

The building is architect designed and purpose built with 4 main rooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen and general office with a soft play and cinema room.

Sandra our on-site cook prepares all our food fresh every day. We also use our own seasonal vegetables / herbs.

The Centre operates a Full Day Nursery, Pre-School, Breakfast & After-School Club and Holiday Clubs.

We have recently moved to a new part of the site with a bigger garden and greater scope for play in our mud kitchen where children are able to make mud pies with organic specially delivered mud.

Also in the gardens we have a nursery rabbit called Olaf who joins the children in the setting. This teaches our children to be aware of animals and to be kind. Our children are given the opportunity to brush their fur and feed them!

We have a large decked area together with a BIG sandpit and a water play area.

We are developing the gardens over the next months to include a new roadway and cycle track with village role play areas as well as enhanced water and sand play facilities.

We do Ballet and German lessons and also use a theatre company for drama lessons for all Nursery and Preschool children.

The nursery was inspected by OFSTED in February 2017 and we were graded as “OUTSTANDING”.

We are open from 7.30am – 6.00pm between Monday & Friday and 51 weeks of the year.
